Full House
In reading about Full House (the Korean drama) and having read part of the manga, I was curious about the drama...

LOL- omg, it is so great. I mean, I've only watched 3/16 episodes but this is seriously entertaining. It is extremely well acted and filmed. Any cheesiness is used in humor and is more like a parody poking fun at the moment of melodrama. Although, I must admit the outfits are so fashionable it hurts. But I can put up with fashion in a drama, haha.

It really is only loosely tied to the manhwa. The basic concept is the same: through some really terrible circumstances a girl, Ji Eun, is swindled out of her family house which is a fantastic mansion her father hand-built. Through some more manga-verse circumstances, a male movie star named Lee Young Jae buys her house (nicknamed the Full House) but she refuses to give it up as it is her only tie to her deceased father. Thus, they end up living in the Full House- which is, as I said, a mansion so the place is only "full" because they bicker nonstop (P.S. according to the sub, the word "full" technically means "weeds"). And due to some more hard-to-explain events, they end up in a pretend marriage. Too bad they really, really don't get along...
(The drama takes the time to build their relationship before they end up together in the house in a particularly amusing setup.)

I love the house, btw. It is so quirky but just wonderful. Houses that are built with love, personality, and attention to detail are so... ahhh, now that makes me want to swoon! Is that weird? I LOVE houses that have that emotional touch. I feel loved just looking at them. ^^; I'd totally refuse to give up the Full House too!

Plus, I got a kick out of the major international flavor of the show - in the first episode we hear good English, Chinese (whichever form is spoken in Shanghai), Korean, and Japanese.
